SACKPAC is a system realized for filling empty bags with IV
fluid, Fluids for haemo-filtration, or fluids for Peritoneal Dialysis and Haemodialysis. Typical
fill volume may range from 50 ml to 5000 ml. The system works
automatically once the empty bag is inserted manually on the rotating
disk. The system cuts open one of the tubes under clean airflow to enable
filling of the bags. The filling and subsequent closure of the port with
desired closure also takes place under clean air. If so desired, the
solution can be pre-filtered through an absolute filter of adequate rating
to render the solution sterile by filtration.
