The Blow-Fill-Seal
Technique
The
blow-fill-seal technique can eliminate human dust and also as maintain a
clean environment in the vicinity of the open bottle. The SYFPAC uses
blow-fill-seal technique to automatically carry out following operations:
1) extrusion of plastic
granulate into a parison at 170°-220°C
2)
blow-molding of the
parison into a container with sterile air
3)
aseptic filling of the
sterile filtered pharmaceutical solution
4)
hermetic sealing of the filled container
The process takes place in a single machine under a controlled
environment that enables the packaging of a parenteral solution in an
aseptic manner, with the following advantages:
a)
less overall
floor space requirement
b)
lower personnel
requirements
c)
lower clean
room requirements
d)
lower logistical
problems
storage of the empty container.
